Tab Trade - What Traders Should Know

TabTrade — The Short Version

TabTrade opened in March 2026. CFD broker based in Saint Lucia, licensed through Saint Lucia's FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, an New Zealand-regulated broker.

His background is relevant. It suggests the person running this is not figuring it out from scratch. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. Still preferable to someone with no brokerage experience.

The broker opened with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same facilities banks and hedge funds use. The typical new launch starts with a white-label MT4 setup. Tab Trade did the opposite. Not the typical playbook.

What you can trade: forex, indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, stock CFDs, cryptocurrencies, ETFs. 1,000+. For something that launched in March 2026, that range is solid.

The Software

Available: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and web trading. Both MT5 and cTrader from one account. Most brokers pick one platform. Having both matters. You are not locked into one.

MetaTrader 5 is what most people know. Full charting, automated trading, tons of scripts and indicators. If you know a MetaQuotes platform previously, you know exactly what you are getting.

cTrader is the cleaner option. Better DOM. Smoother chart interaction. Native automated trading. Plenty of traders prefer it once they try it.

FIX API is available for algo traders but requires the VIP account ($25k minimum). TradingView charting is apparently in the works. That would make the platform set once it is live.

What You Pay

Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. Zero commission. Easy to track. $0 to start. Suits people who want simple pricing.

Edge. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. All-in: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On majors, the raw spread is frequently below 0.2 pips. Meaning your real cost sometimes sits below 0.5 pips. That is good for an offshore broker. Most platforms that have spreads this tight want $500 or more to open. TabTrade requires zero deposit.

VIP account. $25k to open. FIX API, execution under 20ms, tailored rates. Not for typical accounts. Do not worry about it unless you trade institutionally.

Infrastructure

The execution is the thing TabTrade separates from most new launches. Equinix LD4/LD5. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. These are institutional numbers. Most retail brokers operate at 100ms to 300ms.

Does this affect you? If you trade small timeframes, yes. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is profit or loss on tight trades. If you swing trade, you will not notice. The point is they invested in proper execution. That signals something about priorities.

Combine those fill times with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and the overall offering holds up. Few brokers at this price point offer execution like this.

Regulation

This is the part that matters. The broker is licensed by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No CySEC. No fund protection scheme. If that is a problem for you, stop reading. There are ASIC-licensed brokers out there.

That said. The founder built his career at BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The execution setup is expensive. Fly-by-night platforms do not invest in tier-1 data centre access. This does not guarantee anything. It should be part of your decision.

The trade-off: you give up tier-1 protection. What you get instead: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether the trade-off is worth it is your call.

The Bonus

Tab Trade offers bonus funds of up to $2,000. Usual welcome offer. You fund your account, the broker credit extra capital. Usual conditions attached: minimum lots traded before you can withdraw the bonus. Review the fine print before you commit.

Everything in one place, covering regulation, withdrawals, pricing, website and the bonus website terms, is at TradeTheDay.
