Tab Trade — The Short Version
Tab Trade launched in March 2026. CFD broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, licensed through Saint Lucia's FSRA. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, a New Zealand-regulated broker.
The BlackBull connection matters. It says the founder is not figuring it out from scratch. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. It is more reassuring than someone with no brokerage experience.
They launched with execution through Equinix servers. Same data centres banks and hedge funds use. Usually a new brokerage leads with marketing and bonuses. TabTrade led with infrastructure. Unusual for a new broker.
What you can trade: forex, stock indices, gold, silver, commodities, stock CFDs, crypto, exchange-traded funds. Over 1,000 instruments. For a platform that is a few months old, the breadth is broad.
The Software
You get: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and a WebTrader. Two major platforms from a single account. A lot of brokers only give you one or the other. Getting both makes a difference. Pick what suits your style.
MetaTrader 5 is the industry standard. Full charting, automated trading, massive community. If you have traded on MT4 or MT5 previously, it is familiar territory.
cTrader is the cleaner option. Better DOM. More responsive charts. cBot support. Many people find it more natural after using both.
FIX API is there for automated strategies but needs the VIP account ($25k minimum). TradingView is said to be on the roadmap. That will round things out when it lands.
Accounts and Pricing
Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. 1.0 pip spreads. No commission. Simple. No minimum deposit. Works for beginners.
Edge account. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 per side. What you actually pay: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On majors, the raw spread is often a fraction of a pip. So your real cost sometimes sits below 0.5 pips. That is cheap for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most platforms that have spreads this tight require a minimum deposit. TabTrade has no minimum.
VIP. $25,000 minimum. FIX connectivity, sub-20ms execution, negotiated fees. Not something most retail traders. Do not worry about it unless you trade institutionally.
Infrastructure
The execution is the thing Tab Trade actually does something different. Equinix data centres. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. That is proper execution targets. Most retail brokers run 100ms to 300ms.
Should you care? For short-term trading, it does. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is the difference between. If you hold positions longer, you probably will not feel it. But the fact that the setup is serious. That signals something about priorities.
Pair that infrastructure with the Edge account pricing and the total package makes sense. Hardly anyone in this bracket offer execution like this.
Regulation
Here is the thing that requires honesty. Tab Trade is under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is offshore. No FCA. No investor compensation scheme. If that makes you uncomfortable, this broker is not for you. Lots of tier-1 alternatives out there.
That said. The person running it spent years at BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The server placement is not cheap. Dodgy operations do not invest in tier-1 data centre access. This does not guarantee anything. But inform your assessment.
The deal: you give up tier-1 protection. What you get instead: high leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether the trade-off works depends on you.
Welcome Offer
TabTrade runs a deposit bonus of up to two thousand dollars. Typical deposit match. You deposit, the broker credit extra capital. Usual conditions attached: trading volume requirements before you can withdraw the bonus. Read the conditions before you commit.
