Who Is Tab Trade - Launched March 2026, Here Is the Deal

TabTrade — The Short Version

TabTrade went live in March 2026. Online broker registered in Saint Lucia, licensed through Saint Lucia's FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, the New Zealand-regulated broker.

That last detail tells you something. It means the leadership has actually done this before. Does not guarantee anything. Still better than a random name you cannot trace.

They launched with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same facilities institutional desks use. Usually a new brokerage starts with a white-label MT4 setup. Tab Trade did the opposite. Not the typical playbook.

What you can trade: forex, stock indices, metals, oil, energies, softs, stock CFDs, crypto, exchange-traded funds. 1,000+. For a broker that launched in March 2026, that coverage is not narrow.

The Software

You get: MetaTrader 5, cTrader, and a WebTrader. Two major platforms from one account. Most brokers pick one platform. Getting both makes a difference. Use whichever you prefer.

MT5 is the industry standard. Complete charts, Expert Advisors, massive community. If you have used MT4 or MT5 before, you know exactly what you are getting.

cTrader by Spotware is the cleaner option. Better DOM. More responsive charts. Built-in algo trading. Plenty of traders like it better than MT5 after using both.

FIX API is offered for automated strategies but is only on the VIP tier ($25,000 to open). TradingView charting is reportedly coming. That should round things out when it arrives.

Accounts and Pricing

Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard account. 1.0 pip spreads. No commission. Easy to track. Zero deposit requirement. Suits beginners.

Edge account. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips average. Commission of $3.50 per side. All-in: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On EUR/USD, the raw spread is frequently a fraction of a pip. Meaning your real cost sometimes sits below 0.5 pips. That is good for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most brokers that have spreads this tight want $500 or more to open. Tab Trade requires zero deposit.

VIP. $25,000 minimum. FIX connectivity, sub-20ms execution, negotiated fees. Not for typical accounts. Ignore this one unless you move real size.

How Fast Are the Fills

The speed is where Tab Trade stands apart. Equinix data centres. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. These are institutional numbers. Most retail brokers run hundreds of milliseconds.

Should you care? If you scalp, absolutely. The gap between fast execution and sluggish execution is the difference between. If you swing trade, it matters less. The point is the setup is serious. That says they are not cutting corners on the tech.

Put together that execution speed with the Edge account pricing and the total package is strong. Hardly anyone in this bracket run Equinix connectivity.

Safety

Here is the part that matters. The broker is licensed by Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is offshore. No CySEC. No fund protection scheme. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a problem for you, look elsewhere. Lots of tier-1 alternatives out there.

However. The person running it came from BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The execution setup is expensive. Fly-by-night platforms do not invest in Equinix connectivity. That does not guarantee anything. It should factor into your decision.

The deal: no FCA or ASIC safety net. In exchange: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, fast fills. Whether the trade-off is worth it depends on you.

Deposit Bonus

Tab Trade has a deposit bonus of up to $2,000. Usual deposit match. You deposit, they add bonus funds. Usual conditions attached: trading volume requirements before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Review the fine print before you deposit.
