Who Is TabTrade - A New CFD Broker in 2026
TabTrade - What It Is
TabTrade went live in Q1 2026. CFD broker based in Saint Lucia, licensed through Saint Lucia's FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, an New Zealand-regulated broker.
His background matters. It suggests the leadership has actually done this before. That is not a guarantee. Still more reassuring than someone with no brokerage experience.
TabTrade came out of the gate with Equinix data centre access in London. Same data centres banks and hedge funds use. Most new brokers focuses on ads and sign-up promos. Tab Trade did the opposite. Interesting choice.
Market coverage: forex, indices, gold, silver, commodities, shares, cryptocurrencies, ETFs. A wide spread. For a platform that launched in March 2026, the breadth is solid.
The Software
They offer: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and a WebTrader. Both platforms from one account. Many pick one platform. Having both matters. Use whichever you prefer.
MetaTrader 5 is the industry standard. Complete charts, Expert Advisors, tons of scripts and indicators. If you have traded on MetaTrader previously, you know exactly what you are getting.
cTrader by Spotware is the cleaner option. Better depth of market. Smoother chart interaction. Built-in algo trading. Many people like it better than MT5 once they try it.
Direct FIX connectivity is there for algo traders but needs the VIP tier ($25,000 deposit). TradingView is apparently on the roadmap. That would make the platform set when it arrives.
What You Pay
Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Simple. $0 to start. Good for people who want simple pricing.
Edge account. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 per side. What you actually pay: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On majors, the actual interbank spread is frequently under 0.2 pips. So your real cost can be under half a pip. That is cheap for a broker with $0 to start. Most brokers that have spreads this tight require a minimum deposit. Tab Trade has no minimum.
VIP. $25k to open. FIX API, sub-20ms execution, custom pricing. Not something most retail traders. Skip it unless you trade institutionally.
How Fast Are the Fills
The execution is the area where TabTrade actually does something different. Equinix servers in London. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. These are institutional numbers. The average platform operate at hundreds of milliseconds.
Does it matter? If you scalp, it does. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is profit or loss on tight trades. If you trade higher timeframes, it matters less. But the fact that they invested in proper execution. That says something about priorities.
Put together those fill times with the Edge account pricing and the overall offering is strong. Hardly anyone with no minimum deposit run Equinix connectivity.
Safety
Now, the thing you need to be straight about. Tab Trade is under Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is offshore. No ASIC. No investor compensation scheme. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a dealbreaker, stop reading. There are tier-1 alternatives out there.
That said. Benjamin Boulter came from BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The server placement costs real money. Dodgy operations do not bother with Equinix connectivity. This does not replace tier-1 regulation. It should factor into your assessment.
What you are accepting: you give up tier-1 protection. What you get instead: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether this deal is worth it depends on you.
The Bonus
TabTrade runs a welcome bonus of up to $2,000. Typical sign-up bonus. You fund your account, they add bonus funds. Standard terms apply: trading volume requirements before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Read the conditions before you commit.
